Seoul Han River Surprise Proposal Photoshoot | Sidiaz Photography

Fahmi contacted me for his surprise proposal photoshoot in Seoul at Han River. He told me about his plan that he is looking for some photos in Yeouido Park with the buildings and picnic area as he will propose in front of the Han River and then they will ride the E-land cruise. This was surely well-thought off and exciting plan :)

One thing that he wasn't sure about that which location would be best in Yeouido Park to get the most out of the photoshoot and avoid the crowd at the same time. I recommended him to install KakaoMap as it's mostly used in Korea and I can send him a direct Pin for the perfect proposal spot.

From here, we discussed about the poses, props, outfits, and cue (a signal) before he kneels down for proposal.

On the day of the shoot, it was very cloudy and there was a forecast of rain. So, we met a little earlier than planned. We shared our live locations and fixed the spot for the photoshoot. I drew this wonderful art and sent Fahmi this picture to guide, how they should stand. Check my art, hehe :)

I saw the couple walking toward the location while I pretended taking pictures of the clouds, birds, and flowers. I didn't wanted to just stand there with my camera, looking into the empty air, haha.. :D See my random captures of birds, flowers, and distant Seoul Tower.

As soon I saw Fahmi giving the signal that he is ready to propose her (Raven), I moved my camera towards them and captured her amazing reaction. She said, Yes!! :) Yeayyy!!

This surprise proposal was so much fun to plan and shoot at Han River with the beautiful Namsan Tower in the background. Everything was just perfect. I am so happy to capture their love, smiles, and most beautiful moment in life ^^
